Query me!

What to send (when I re-open to queries):

Please send a personalized query letter and the first 15 pages of your manuscript, pasted in the body of your email, to me at reskildsen[at]writershouse[dot]com.

The subject line should read “Query [genre] [TITLE].”

If you have a website or social media handle to share, I’d love to see it. Please include any other information you feel is relevant!

Please note:

• You may only query ONE agent at Writers House at a time. If I pass, you're welcome to query another Writers House agent.

• Please only send one project at a time, although you're welcome to mention what else you're working on in your query letter.

• I respond to all queries! I aim to respond to queries within 8-10 weeks. Please let me know asap if you receive an offer of representation.

• My spam filter can be ridiculous. If you’re having trouble submitting your query, you can reach out to me on Bluesky for help.

• I'm currently unable to accept physical mailed queries. Email only, please!
